Stewart MacDougall is one of Canada’s finest singer-songwriters and a true icon of Alberta’s music scene. With a career spanning more than five decades, he has earned a reputation as an exceptional songwriter, keyboardist, and performer whose music reflects the rich traditions of folk, country, and roots music. Originally from Fredericton, New Brunswick, he made Edmonton his home in 1980 and has since become a cornerstone of Alberta’s folk, country, and roots music scene. He has released four solo albums and appeared on several acclaimed tribute recordings.
